Get High With Tony Stark

No, we’re not talking about Substabce D. This Iron Man Rocket Blast Launcher by Hasbro can set Tony up 40ft in the air. No batteries or wires, just good old fashioned compressed air. Great for the young at heart and inebriated.

Radius Uni Flame Fireplace

This indoor/outdoor fireplace by Radius would not look out of place in any pimp’s mansion. Just like its cousin the Still Life Fruit Bowl, you probably can make your own for a fraction of its 998€ pricetag with your old fish tank.

Calvin and Job-bes

Do you start at the comics or obituary section when you read the paper? In the bizzaro world, Hobbes the tiger gets swapped for Apple headhonco Steve Jobs. It’s trippy to say the least, or maybe I’m not quite sober.

The Pulp Fiction HD Casing

This harddrive casing has bad motherfucker written all over it. Featuring Mr. Snakes On A Plane himself, this casing would perfectly complement any collection of ultra violent downloaded movies. Also available is a cubed Vincent Vega (John Travolta). Meninos seem to be positioning themselves as the hardrive version of Mimoco, the makers of the highly sought after Mimobot flash drives. Retails for USD250.00, and that’s just for the casing alone. For those who can’t afford this, I suggest MagicMarker to beautify your ratty DigiBoy casing.

Batman Guitars

Ok, so the movie was great. But you know what would have been better? If Batman picked up his guitar and played some licks. Shred some Malmsteen. Rock a bit of Dragonforce. Then kick the Joker’s ass. Batman wouldn’t look out of place at a Goth concert anyway, so in the spirit of scenes that never existed, here are some Batman themed guitars the Boss (our boss, not Springsteen) found on the internet.

First off is the Wing-Bat Guitar designed by George Barris, the creator of the Batmobile from the 60’s TV show. The retro Bat-vibe is definitely apparent here with a scalloped wing design and a “turbine power boost exhaust”. Produced by Hallmark Guitars, this baby is probably Continue Reading…

The Biggest Movie of the Year Just Got Bigger

Forget the hype, the viral advertising, the sad demise and possible Oscar nods to a certain Australian actor. When The Dark Knight opens in just a few days, will you be seeing it in its full splendor? Director Christopher Nolan shot over 20 minutes of six major action sequences on IMAX cameras (think 70 megapixels a frame).

This marks the first time a major feature film has had scenes shot using the IMAX format. To watch the movie the way it’s meant to be, check the IMAX website to see if there’s an IMAX theater near you.

The Boss watches The Dark Knight on IMAX on Thursday, 17th July. Thanks to Irwin and Yina for the tickets.

Bentley Continental GT: Wald Black Bison Edition

The upcoming Black Bison Kit by Japanese tuning house Wald looks to add more agressive styling to the very competent power of the Bentley Continental GT. In an age where hybrid and electric cars grab the headlines, the Bentley Continental GT Black Bison Edition by Wald stays true to its roots with signature rear extractor vents and meaner lines on the profile. Available with a variety of rim stylings, check them all out on the official WALD Website. Prepare to drool.

Voodoo Envy Overcomes Mac Fanboys

Do you hear that sound? The sound of millions of Mac fanboys flocking to online forums to defend their sacred cake-cutting MacBook Air. HP, whose executives delightfully cut cake with the MacBook Air, have released the Envy 133 under their Voodoo line of performance systems.

Thinner than the MacBook Air, the Envy has killer features such as Voodoo’s Instant On Solution which boots your web browser at the touch of a button without waiting for your system to turn on. In my opinion, this beauty still falls short of Lenovo’s tasty X300 which is thinner than both the Envy and the MacBook Air and has an built-in DVD Burner, which both competitors lack. But who could resist the luxury packaging the Envy comes in?

THE BOTTOMLINE: X300 for business. Envy for pleasure. MacBook Air for wannabes.

Bubble Calendar

The Bubble Calendar is a calendar with plastic bubbles over the days so you can pop one every day of the year. A novel idea, but for those people like me, this calendar would probably last a couple of days before my fingers get itchy and I go on a popping spree. Available in vertical and horizontal varieties, the calendar retails for USD $29.95 printed on paper and $50.95 on plastic. The question on my mind is, do they ship this in bubble wrap?
