Ok, so the movie was great. But you know what would have been better? If Batman picked up his guitar and played some licks. Shred some Malmsteen. Rock a bit of Dragonforce. Then kick the Joker’s ass. Batman wouldn’t look out of place at a Goth concert anyway, so in the spirit of scenes that never existed, here are some Batman themed guitars the Boss (our boss, not Springsteen) found on the internet.

Forget the hype, the viral advertising, the sad demise and possible Oscar nods to a certain Australian actor. When The Dark Knight opens in just a few days, will you be seeing it in its full splendor? Director Christopher Nolan shot over 20 minutes of six major action sequences on IMAX cameras (think 70 megapixels a frame).

This marks the first time a major feature film has had scenes shot using the IMAX format. To watch the movie the way it’s meant to be, check the IMAX website to see if there’s an IMAX theater near you.

In yet another attempt to milk the franchise dry, the marketing types at Lucasfilm will be releasing a Star Wars themed fishing set complete with a lightsaber styled fishing rod. Looking at the pictures, you also get a ‘Darth Vader Fun Net’ and a ‘Jedi Utility Box’. Great for 6 year olds and attention seekers, but only if the attention you desire is where people point and laugh.
